The bareback rider must cling to the leather handhold for a violent eight seconds ride. He must spur the unbridled horse over the shoulders on the first jump out of the chute, and lick him well during the ride to score high. He can't touch any part of the horse with his free hand. Meanwhile, the horse has no rules as to what it can do to dump him..
